Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse

The lighthouse was manually operated using clockwork
mechanisms and kerosene fuelled light until 1982, when it was
automated. At the time it remained
one of the last manualy operated lighthouses in the world.
The original mechanism was left in place and
can be viewed during a guided lighthouse tour.
